The standard in collaborative estate agency.

Mr & Mrs P started with a simple idea: estate agency could feel far more personal, proactive and honest than most people had come to expect.

We offer what still feels like a fairly radical concept in the industry: honesty. We’ll tell you the truth, give you proper advice and remain the same two people from your first conversation right through to completion. Because selling a home is never just a transaction.

Simon Pickering

Simon Pickering, Founder & Director

Simon spent the better part of his career at the sharp end of corporate estate agency - leading teams of more than 100 as sales and lettings director for one of the country's larger agencies. By most measures, he was very good at it.

But the thing he was most proud of wasn't a sales record. It's a training manual.

Written from scratch and rolled out nationally, it was his answer to a question he'd been asking since early in his career: why does this industry keep producing the same results when it could so easily produce better ones? The manual was less about process and more about people - how to understand them, how to support them, and how to build a culture where doing right by the client wasn't the exception. It was simply the standard.

That philosophy has followed him into every role he's held, and it follows him still. Simon has a genuine instinct for the psychology of buyers and sellers - not just the logistics of a move, but the emotional architecture beneath the decision. He knows when someone needs reassurance, when they need a straight answer, and when they just need someone to take something off their plate without being asked twice. He is, unfailingly, more interested in what's right for you than what's convenient for him.

He is also - and this is not unrelated - exactly the same person at home as he is at work. In this industry, that's rarer than it ought to be.

Outside of property, Simon is a keen golfer, a devoted student of WWII history and the Cosa Nostra - two subjects that, when you think about it, reveal quite a lot about a man fascinated by how loyalty, human behaviour, and high-stakes decisions really operate. He is also an Aston Villa supporter, which demonstrates both an admirable sense of commitment and a reasonable tolerance for disappointment.

He fits in well here.

Jenna Pickering

Jenna Pickering, Founder & Director

Jenna is not your typical estate agent. There is no red car. No shiny suit. No script delivered with a well timed pause and a laminated brochure. What there is and has been throughout an entire career spent in Worcester and Worcestershire is someone with an almost inconvenient ability to make one of life's more stressful experiences feel less like dealing with an agent and more like getting advice from a good friend. One who happens to know the Worcester market inside out and has absolutely done her homework.

She spent years managing branches for one of the country's larger corporate agencies before moving to an independent. A detail worth noting - every branch has been consistently transformed into top-performing offices. Not by chance. By caring about the right things with a consistency that, frankly, put most of the industry to shame.

The moments she's most proud of, though, aren't the rankings. They're the people. The new starters she took a chance on who went on to run their own branches. The former colleagues who still get in touch - sometimes years later - to say that working with her changed the direction of their careers. She was shaped the same way herself: first by her own former manager, and then by Simon. They've worked together for longer than either will quite confirm, and are (remarkably) not even slightly sick of each other yet.

Thoughtful to a fault, determined, and the sort of person who will move mountains on your behalf before you've noticed the mountain was ever there - Jenna has wanted to build Mr & Mrs P for a long time.

It turns out it was worth the wait.

“If you want an agency that genuinely cares and delivers, choose Mr & Mrs P.”
