Simon Pickering, Founder & Director
Simon spent the better part of his career at the sharp end of corporate estate agency - leading teams of more than 100 as sales and lettings director for one of the country's larger agencies. By most measures, he was very good at it.
But the thing he was most proud of wasn't a sales record. It's a training manual.
Written from scratch and rolled out nationally, it was his answer to a question he'd been asking since early in his career: why does this industry keep producing the same results when it could so easily produce better ones? The manual was less about process and more about people - how to understand them, how to support them, and how to build a culture where doing right by the client wasn't the exception. It was simply the standard.
That philosophy has followed him into every role he's held, and it follows him still. Simon has a genuine instinct for the psychology of buyers and sellers - not just the logistics of a move, but the emotional architecture beneath the decision. He knows when someone needs reassurance, when they need a straight answer, and when they just need someone to take something off their plate without being asked twice. He is, unfailingly, more interested in what's right for you than what's convenient for him.
He is also - and this is not unrelated - exactly the same person at home as he is at work. In this industry, that's rarer than it ought to be.
Outside of property, Simon is a keen golfer, a devoted student of WWII history and the Cosa Nostra - two subjects that, when you think about it, reveal quite a lot about a man fascinated by how loyalty, human behaviour, and high-stakes decisions really operate. He is also an Aston Villa supporter, which demonstrates both an admirable sense of commitment and a reasonable tolerance for disappointment.
He fits in well here.
